Submitted by on 22 January, 2022 – 4:33 am

The results are taken from an internet survey the company performed in December of 1,838 US tiny to midsize companies which proved that forty p.c of SMBs don’t yet have an internet presence. Of those companies without a site, 53 p.c asserted they had not got any idea what a domain would cost every month. These home entrepreneurs need more info about the features and advantages of web hosting to “broaden their range of chances to benefit from the Internet,” announces 11.

“While many little firms today leverage the Web with accelerating talent, too many companies remain excluded from the online world,” announces Oliver Mauss, Head honcho of 11 Net . “Although an internet presence becomes more vital for the purchase of new buyers, home entrepreneurs are still oblivious of the true price of Web hosting. They overestimate the mandatory business investments for being online and put down how straightforward and cheap it is to source a website.”. For those SMBs that are already online, 83 p.c announced that their website was an essential tool to their company’s success. Those respondents that didn’t have a web presence looked confused as to the cost of hosting, making a guess a business web site would cost $67 each month.

In the meantime , 91 % of those respondents thought it might cost more than $10 a month. Cost was also found to be a significant component for SMBs that already had an existing online presence, with the average SMB announcing that they spend $45 each month for hosting.

84% stated that they spend over $10 every month.  Sixty-four percent concluded that a cheap monthly charge is significant, which outranked service by 33 p.c and quality and trustworthiness by 25 p.c. 11 reveals that SMBs can seriously lower web hosting costs by making and updating their own web site thru DIY web site packages.

Now , twenty-eight % of respondents stated that they create their own internet site themselves and 37 percent hire a pro web designer from outside of the company. Other results proved that 44 % of SMB owners reduce costs by updating the site themselves, while only twenty-two p.c still employ an external pro. The company asserts that 15 % of SMBs may have been paying for a service they may have simply done in-house, since a most pro hosting packages include templates and thus don’t need pro programming abilities.
