Ali Davachi Q&A

Submitted by on 1 March, 2022 – 4:32 pm

Introduced last week, the all you are able to Eat plan provides unlimited websites, bandwidth, transfer and disk drive space, as well as 100 free control panel accounts for $297 a month — and as a limited time promotion to celebrate its launch, Price Reseller cut the price to $197. The Pay As You Go plan offers disk drive space for $0.50 per GB and $4 per GB of traffic.

The re-designed reseller plans are delivered on a next-generation cloud hosting platform, signalling a business shift from dedicated servers to cloud hosting.

To further differentiate it from rivals, Worth Reseller doesn’t compete at the retail level against its partners, re-assuring its resellers of its dedication to helping them succeed. The Buzz : How does Value Reseller outline cloud hosting and how does its new “Pay As You Go” plan fit into this model? Ali Davachi : The cloud and cloud hosting isn’t that new.

In fact, by its nature, web hosting is a cloud service. What’s different is our offering of virtual dedicated servers instead of a dependance on one physical dedicated machine.

There are just too many downsides to trusting hosting to one machine.

With a virtual dedicated server hosted by a cloud infrastructure, clients can access a virtualized set of resources, which provide phenomenal scalability, high availability and resiliency. The industrial advantages are apparent too since you can leverage a larger infrastructure while not having to pay for it. Price Reseller’s goal is to enable our hosting clients to supply high quality services to their end purchasers. To that end, we’ve implemented an end-to-end virtualized infrastructure so our patrons can leverage it to supply a full range of services to their customers.

Pay As You Go permits buyers to only pay for resources they really use. It was launched to permit our resellers to leverage resources as required and used, and to lessen any large, upfront investment on their part. As with all our plans, there are no contracts or minimum lengths needed.

During the past few months, Worth Reseller has bought LogicSupport, which gives white-label, outsourced tech support, administration and management services completely for web hosts, and Javascript Zoom, a Javascript application that permits users to zoom in and focus closely on website images. Did these acquisitions factor into the timing valuable Reseller’s hosting package re-design and website re-launch? AD : Both acquisitions are in accordance with our company focus of providing the most complete service offering to our resellers.

The acquisitions and our launch of new plans were not intentionally timed to coincide. Both lead to our target of providing the absolute best service. The acquisitions increase the breadth of our offerings so our clients only have to cope with one source. The new pricing models provide options that fit in the varied budget wishes of firms, particularly during these tricky commercial times.

Our objective is to be on the cutting edge and to consistently offer the most recent and best, so our resellers can offer the same to their customers. Why did Worth Reseller decide to lose its dedicated server-based plans?

AD : We found thru our years of dedicated offerings the overhead in handling servers and the result on buyers when issues arise are amazing. From the time a dedicated server issue crops up to resolution might be many hours, down time that is unsatisfactory to most businesses nowadays. With new virtual dedicated offerings hosted on a cloud infrastructure, there are no problems about single points of failure like CPUs, motherboards, disks or power supplies.

The LogicSupport purchase gives us the power to offer fully managed virtual servers and supply end user support for resellers. We think each virtual dedicated customer is unique, and therefore we tailor the plans to meet their needs.

Will existing purchasers be migrated to new plans? AD : If clients are OK with their existing plan, we won’t interrupt them in any way.

If they review our new plans and would like to move we are going to be pleased to do so. Recently , we’ve heard the word “unlimited” more frequently to explain hosting packages it becomes increasingly tough to offer unlimited services as rich media applications proliferate. How unlimited is Price Reseller’s “All You Can Eat” plan? Is there are certain point where you’ve got to cut clients off? AD : The all you are able to Eat plan is hosted on our shared virtualized cluster. As such, we will be able to supply a laser concentrate on availability, network services, and virtual examples. We do have an exclusion for media sharing and file sharing sites. Our offering is concentrated on our core clients who are clients who provide application and web hosting to their patrons. Past this, there are not any other exclusions in our plan.
