Casecamp & NorthernVoice
Last night I went to CaseCamp in Vancouver and it was a great event with about 60 people there. Thanks to Cinci for organizing the event and dealing with all the last minute problems. Hopefully it won’t be another year until the next one.
This weekend is NorthernVoice (which ScribbleWiki is a sponsor of). I’ll have some stickers and pins to hand out if anyone wants them just come up to me, I most likely will have a ScribbleWiki t-shirt on. There are some brilliant people going to this like Matthew Mullenweg (creator of WordPress) and of course our own local celebrity Boris Mann.
Be certain to take a look at the Sports Blogging and Podcasting panel that I can be moderating on Sat. . New this year, catered lunches and the tiki lounge dinner on Thu. evening ( February twenty-one ). This year’s Enormous Technology Show in Vancouver will happen Apr first. It is a giant one day convention featuring booths, demos, speakers and keynotes for those curious about company technologies of today. “At the Large Technology Show managers will increase their information on a good range of technology solutions for company communications, system infrastructure, product usability, and other urgent business activities.”. John attended last year ( as did John Food ) and though both were not highly impressed, I am forecasting it as I’ll be concerned with a new media panel, which should be pretty fascinating.
