Christina Aguilera Confirms Split From Jordan Bratman
Emerges as the famous week breaks. Shortly after David Arquette to call Howard Stern on Tuesday morning (October 12) to discuss his separation with his wife Courteney Cox, Christina Aguilera issued a statement confirming her split with husband Jordan Bratman.
“Even though Jordan and I are separated, our commitment to our son Max is still as strong as ever,” Aguilera said in a statement.
A source told UsMagazine.com that “have been separated for several months … who are now living together, and you’ll see how it goes.” The couple have not decided to divorce, and both remain committed to their children, now “his main concern.” “They were very much in love. But in the last six months, it became clear they were more like friends than husband and wife.” The source added that even Aguilera “, proposed his August trip to Italy to rekindle their relationship, but to no avail.”
After meeting with the executive of music marketing in the music management company, Azoff Music Management in 2002, Aguilera and Bratman married in November 2005 in Napa Valley. They had their son, Max, in January 2008.
While promoting her album Bionic earlier this year, Aguilera did not shy away from talking about his family and gave no indication of the impending split, noting that she and Bratman still had “naked Sundays.”
“I think it’s important that [Max] is a mother not be ashamed of their sexuality. … We are art collectors, there are a lot of female nudes in the house. Max is growing up in a house where only the norm.. .. It’s just weird when the shame, “she said. “I’m more confident and comfortable in my own skin. I think I’m even more sexual Christina.”
