Core Services Opens 50K Sq. Ft. Data Center in NJ
Oracle Hosting Provider Core Services (www.coreservices.com) said Monday it has opened a new center of 50,000 square feet of data in Somerset, New Jersey.
The facility was formerly a center for disaster recovery for a “major Wall Street bank,” the press release.
The Data Center Somerset highly redundant infrastructure includes power, cooling, and security, and ample room to grow with the basic needs of the customer services increasing.
The facility combines the architecture more robust and flexible hardware, intelligence and technology management systems and advanced security and integrated power management to ensure a secure and sophisticated high technology to meet the basic needs of Client Services.
“The SDC will facilitate the ability of Core Services to design, build and maintain advanced Oracle ERP environment,” says Jim Bistis, Core Services president and CEO. “This will allow Core Services to provide its customers with extraordinary speed, security and a reliable performance at all times. With databases growing perpetuity, the demand for data centers world-class continues to grow.”

The location of Somerset data center gives the company access to a pool “of talent of highly educated professionals and recent graduates from universities in the area, including Princeton, Columbia, Penn, and Rutgers.
