e-shelter Appoints Sebastian Brandis COO
data center operator based in Frankfurt e-shelter (www.e-shelter.com) announced today that it has appointed Dr. Sebastian Brandis operations officer.
Brandis has 15 years experience in the industry and offers expertise in general management, sales, product management, customer relations, IT and professional services to the growth plans of e-shelter.

Recently, Brandis was chief operating officer of the German division of British Telecom (www.bt.com).
Before BT, Brandis was a management consultant for the government consultancy Booz Allen Hamilton (www.boozallen.com) and worked for the mobile communications company Viag Interkom, which is now O2 (www.o2.com).
He studied physics and philosophy at the University of Bonn, received his master’s degree in theoretical physics from Cambridge University and a doctorate in the same area at the University of Hamburg.
Founded in 2000, e-shelter has offices in Berlin, Hamburg and Munich, with headquarters in Frankfurt.
The company has built more than 850,000 square feet of data center and has about 650,000 square feet of planned construction.
