e-shelter Appoints Sebastian Brandis COO

data center operator based in Frankfurt e-shelter ( announced today that it has appointed Dr. Sebastian Brandis operations officer.

Brandis has 15 years experience in the industry and offers expertise in general management, sales, product management, customer relations, IT and professional services to the growth plans of e-shelter.

“The demand for data center space has increased dramatically in recent years due to increasing volumes of data. Founded in 2000, e-shelter has offices in Berlin, Hamburg and Munich, with headquarters in Frankfurt.

The company has built more than 850,000 square feet of data center and has about 650,000 square feet of planned construction.

Is the development of new locations in Zurich and London. The 118,000 square foot data center in Zurich is scheduled for completion in 2011.
