IaaS Provider Codero Passes SAS 70 Type II Audit
After a detailed, independent of the internal controls of the company-wide policies and procedures, the infrastructure-as-a-service provider Codero (www.codero.com) has successfully completed its last statement on Auditing Standards No. 70 (known as SAS 70) Type II control.
It is used worldwide to evaluate processes of information security and control procedures, SAS 70 was created by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (www.aicpa.org) and has been in force since 1992. The last audit Codero allows clients to assure transparency in the security of its internal controls.
Before obtaining the type II, Codero completed its first SAS 70 Type I audit in March, which assessed the status of their control environment and effectiveness in meeting the control objectives for this moment.
