Intel and The Game Creators Team Up for Netbooks Competition

have partnered with Intel to offer game developers a chance to win a number of awards for the development of new games for netbooks. There are several prizes on offer with the first prize, all expenses paid vacation worth up to $ 5,000.

The contest aims to find, recognize and reward the development of excellent games for netbook devices. Independent and amateur developers are encouraged to make use of summer and start a new hobby potentially earn income with Intel AppUp store and game-making tools for game developers.

The Financial Game Creators’ Director, Rick Vanner, said: “This competition is aimed to train many talented amateur producers who love to spend their free time coding games and demos. AppUp Intel’s warehouse will give them a direct channel to market and sell their applications for small game to millions of users around the world. By using the free versions of Dark Basic Professional or dark GDK can create games in a short time scale. We have a very creative community and will interesting to see what develops. ”
