LeaseWeb, Appoints Business Developer
Hosting provider, LeaseWeb, plans to extend its share of the market for website hosting in Turkey. LeaseWeb recruited 29-year old Emrah Aydin as the corporation’s new business development executive to handle this job. Ruud Mous, Sales Director of LeaseWeb mentioned ”Emrah’s work experience before his appointment at LeaseWeb will be helpful. Additionally, he could be a Turkish countrywide, which is a great advantage when doing business in Turkey.
He speaks the language, he knows the culture, and he is acquainted with the customs. I predict this will have a positive result on the LeaseWeb sales leads to Turkey. Emrah Aydin, twenty-nine, will be a powerful addition to LeaseWeb’s global business development team for its intensive promotional program in Turkey. Mr Aydin formerly worked as a regional sales chief for Emerson Network Power in Poland. Mr Mous added, ”Turkey lags far behind Holland in Web infrastructure, and the Turkish market has a great need for effective Internet services. Roadside poster advertisements inspire Net use thru advertisements like “The Net is the vitamin for your children.
The Amsterdam area, which constitutes the base for LeaseWeb’s worldwide hosting network spanning telecoms carriers and Web exchanges, is alluring to the Turkish market thanks to the glorious connections that meet up here. Mr Mous continued, ”Amsterdam, London and Frankfurt are the planet’s most critical Web exchanges. The attractiveness of Amsterdam also makes LeaseWeb fascinating to firms found in the Turkish area. Additionally, LeaseWeb’s network has a bandwidth of more than 750 Gigabits per second, which is urgent to such areas as streaming and fast scalability in web environments. Only a few firms in Europe have this amount of bandwidth available in their networks. In preparation for its Turkish marketing program, LeaseWeb joined a commercial mission to Turkey along with State Secretary of Industrial Affairs Frank Heemskerk in late 2008.
LeaseWeb also has Turkish-speaking office staff who can handle client calls in their local language. LeaseWeb has had good experience with the deployment of business development bosses in different countries, who maintain face-to-face contacts with ( possible ) buyers in those markets. Mr Mous concluded, ”Personal contacts are a key factor in our capability to shut deals. In Turkey particularly, deals are primarily based on trust instead of on directions.
You can’t achieve this with phone sales.
