LogMeIn and UMID Announced Availability of Remote Access to Ultra Mobile Computers

LogMeIn and Umid mobile PC manufacturer have announced they are bringing the power of the desktop to mobile Internet devices (MID). Umid will LogMeIn products available to customers of its new mbook, allowing users to access your PC or Mac, including all applications and data on them, Umid directly from your device using a standard Internet connection.

The new Umid mbook come pre-loaded with LogMeIn Ignition, available for the purchase of a package off with LogMeIn Pro ². Ignition ² Pro Plus provides a single click, remote access to all remote computers on a user from any location with Internet access and the ability to quickly and easily transfer or synchronize files and folders between your computer and the master device Umid. The Umid mbook new release in Korea in January 2010. Marketing and distribution plans outside Korea, including the U.S. market, are still being finalized.
