Mezeo Releases Version 3.0, Names New Partners
According to the press release, Meze Cloud Storage Platform 3.0 includes the policy pursued by the geo-location and geo-replication, enabling organizations to define where objects are stored, and distributed across geographically distributed networks for the purpose of content delivery.
It will also provide additional support for Amazon S3 API, which facilitates migration of applications developed for the solution to the Amazon cloud-based storage software Meze’s. There will be new options for access to common system files from the Internet and network file system, and REST Web services APIs, Meze native Windows client and WebDAV.
And that will provide synchronization capabilities through a new target synchronization client for Windows label that will allow users to synchronize their desktops to the storage cloud.

The Meze solution offers options, complete security in a global business environment and a real cloud-scale Web environment – not just a cluster file system. ”
Meze says the new version will be backward compatible, enabling customers begin to migrate into place.
Along with announcing the new version, Meze announced several new partnerships this week.
On Tuesday, the company announced that managed hosting provider Layered Tech (www.layeredtech.com) had become Prime Minister of the company hosting partner program, a list of companies that includes, among others, NaviSite and SoftLayer. According to the page on the website Meze, the program includes a “cloud storage preparation team” that works to ensure the successful launch of the program by the host partner.

Finally, Meze announced it had partnered with Nexenta Systems (www.nexenta.com), a developer of storage systems outdoor company to provide a “full service offering storage enabled the clouds.”
Solution of NexentaStor Nextenta says Meze, is ideal for providing a scalable and high performance to complement the infrastructure software platform Meze. The joint solution will enable service providers to offer advanced storage clouds and bring them to market faster.
