According to its Mon. statement, the “green” hosting facility also serves to meet HCL’s growing purchaser requirement for green, sophisticated, end-to-end services, including near-shore co-location solutions and services, cloud computing, business continuity and mainframe management services.

This new information center adds to HCL’s existing near-shore delivery network in the States, which includes its operations center in Raleigh, North Carolina, and its worldwide info center delivery ecosystem powered by partner facilities across the world. “HCL has made an entrenched commitment in growing its presence here in the US, and today’s statement of a new, next-generation information center in New Jersey demonstrates our continued dedication, regardless of the challenging commercial environment,” HCL North America infrastructure services division sales senior vice president R Srikrishna expounded in a press release. “HCL is targeted on growing share of the market in North America.

Our new operations, not only in New Jersey, but also in North Carolina, enable us to do that goal while benefiting the local economies thru short- and long term job creation for construction and IT support.

Since taking the info center in October, 2008, HCL commenced investing more than $15 million in technology and service landscape upgrades, using up to the minute consolidation, virtualization, green computing and reference architectures, leading to higher serviceability, better end-user application reply times and serious cost benefits during the last 10 months.

HCL also proposes to hire more than 100 local US employees for the facility, a vital investment according to HCL service delivery infrastructure services division senior vice president C Vijay Kumar recounted in a press release. “We believe that our investment in local geographies and cutting edge solutions and services will supply noticeably reduced TCO and augmented IT performance including vicinity advantages to US enterprises,” Kumar declared in a press release.

“This facility is another milestone in HCL’s assertive growth and its dedication to provide right-shore delivery options to consumers round the globe.”. HCL selected New Jersey for its new facility due to its highly talented workforce and vicinity to consumers in the larger NY City area, especially those in the fiscal services, life sciences and pharmaceutical industries.
