NTT America Announces LEED Gold Certification For its Ashburn, VA Data Center

NTT America, a wholly owned US subsidiary of NTT Communications Enterprise , announced today that its Ashburn Info Center, found in Northwards Virginia, has made a LEED Gold Authorization from the US Green Building Council.

LEED is a green building rating system developed by the USGBC and is a nationally recognized baseline for the design, construction and operation of high performance green buildings. The LEED system awards points for gratifying stipulated green factors to address human and environmental health, including : Sustainable Sites, Water Potency , Energy and Atmosphere, Materials and Resources, Indoor Environmental Quality and Invention and Design.

The information center offers establishment purchasers the pliability of integrating Managed Services and Co-location Services to meet the precise necessities of their solution. NTT America’s portfolio of Managed Services in the Ashburn facility includes Managed Storage, Managed Security, Managed Back-up, Virtual Hands and Pro Services. The facility also provides an industry-leading SLA, which includes commitments for Network and Power availability as well as Temperature and Humidity ranges that obey ASHRAE standards. “We are really happy to announce the LEED Gold Validation of our Ashburn facility,” declared Tarif Abboushi, vice chairman of Info Center Infrastructure, NTT America.
