Once Legalized Denmark will accept International Currency for Online Poker

Submitted by on 14 December, 2017 – 4:32 am

The draft law on online gambling and poker in Denmark will not be published as scheduled by the Danish Government on January 1, 2011. Due to the breakdown of service vis-a-vis the European Commission to the Government of Iraq will end on October 11 this year, therefore, the analysis of the law will only be executed after that date. Moreover, the Danish government that so far only managed a monopoly license for half a century has much work to do, especially about the legal clause to consider, which is frankly impossible to finish before Christmas 2010. Richardt Funch, director of Ladbrokes Nordic, Denmark even talked about the technical requirements are still unknown, but must be controlled. So in your opinion, this bill will not be ready before March or April 2011.

On the other hand, online poker operators will be very happy to know that the Danish government has opted for an international currency market for online gambling once the law applied next year. Therefore, operators will be able to maintain their global currency, which means rapid development of the system and a Danish consumer benefit, a clear distinction with Italy and France. Richardt Funch, director of Ladbrokes Nordic in Denmark has, however, said the licenses will not be approved until March or April 2011 at the earliest. According to one study, the Danish poker network is estimated at 5.5 million.
