Parallels EMEA Roadshow Connects with European Hosts
Still in beta, the hosted control panel helps hosting and cloud services suppliers broaden their offerings, increase cash and meet the IT needs of little and medium-sized companies. Von Varchmin announces that, in making SMB Edition, Parallels looked at the services and determined “what should be added, what’s now not in Plesk, but also just as significantly, what should be simplified. What resulted was a control panel that brings obligatory software to web hosts, helping both ISVs and hosts become more profit-making.
Parallels plans to get the planet’s biggest software suppliers on-board later on. The EMEA Partner stop in Amsterdam was predicted to be one of the most well attended events, providing the ideal location for corporations to make their ECU presence known, along with their interest in the market.
“OpenSRS has had a presence in Europe for over 6 years now and we are looking to talk to our resellers thru Europe,” EMEA business development manager Ben Reuss announced.
“I’m meeting with current clients and possible clients who need to discover more about our services and how they can learn how to grow their website hosting companies together [with OpenSRS]. While OpenSRS is re-affirming its place in the EU hosting industry, others are taking the event as a chance to better familiarise themselves with the EU market.
“We know the Yankee market pretty well — that is where we are based, that is where our roots are,” Unison director of business development Irina Zavina expounded. It’s a giant market, but it is a tiny market as it’s awfully local so that the Dutch market is not like Poland, isn’t like Switzerland, isn’t the same as Helsinki because perspective toward open-source and Microsoft and the way folk spend money is absolutely different. So we are trying to study each particular market and know how markets are arranged and our products are distributed.
“We also do not have a massive presence in Europe yet, regardless of offices in London and St Petersburg, so we are trying to work out how we are going to go at the market as well as understand the different product needs as well as language. Parallels has more than two hundred partners in Western Europe, including ninety % of the top EMEA hosts. Parallels’ white label reseller programs are especially favored in Europe, letting local hosts resell Parallels products and supply a wider array of applications without losing their unique brand autonomy and customer faithfulness. The 2009 Parallels Partner roadshow started in Stockholm, Sept.
