SMBs Accelerate Move to Cloud-Based Microsoft Hosted Exchange

Automation and virtualization leader, Parallels, today made an announcement about that its hosting supplier partners are seeing an uptick and increased requirement for its Parallels Automation offering, which delivers applications like Microsoft Hosted Exchange in a software as a service model. ( GMO-HS ) in the East, as well as leading Telcos like Portugal Telecoms and Dawn.  In the Hosted Exchange model, the service provider manages all of the technology and support for the SMB.

We continue to see a continuously growing knowledge of the benefits of hosted application delivery in the marketplace. “We have seen amazing interest from our channel partners for the expanded collection of hosted communication services that Apptix offers,” asserted Chris Damvakaris, VP of Sales and Business Development for Apptix. “Parallels Automation was a vital addition to our technical architectureimproving our partners’ capability to bundle services they opt to offer clients, thru a settled control panel while automating many management functions.

The economy is rising the adoption of Microsoft Hosted Exchange by SMBs as companies look to lower their IT costs and overhead and improve their competitiveness. In reality, according to a Gartner report in 2008, Microsoft Hosted Exchange will grow to 35 million users by 2012, representing an 88-percent compound yearly rate of growth.
