SocialEngine Opens To Service Providers

Submitted by on 14 December, 2019 – 4:33 am

In the crowded field of web development and consulting service providers the most successful platforms often use their own pre-built software and frameworks to build social websites for their clients. This competitive advantage makes it difficult for small design consultants and hosting providers to attract customers who want their own online communities, as they often have to create from scratch or use non-optimal open source alternatives.

Webligo, a social software publisher headquartered in Los Angeles, has announced a new reseller program that allows these developers and consultants of building social networks of their customers using the platform SocialEngine. The program allows resellers to use the source code SocialEngine and re-brand before using it for customer projects, making them more competitive with larger suppliers who have their own proprietary platforms.

Hosting providers also benefit from the program. With the demand for custom, branded social communities on the rise, providers can now offer hosting accounts with social networking pre-installed.
