The Rackspace Cloud Launches Partner Program
Rackspace Cloud (www.rackspacecloud.com), the computing division of Rackspace Cloud Hosting (www.rackspace.com) announced Wednesday it has launched its new partner program (www.rackspacecloud.com / partners) for distributors and affiliates.
Based on feedback from its partners, the program of new parter The Rackspace Cloud is designed to simplify the interactions between Rackspace and its solution partners.
With the new program, these partners can access a simple installation, registration and payment processes, both for themselves and their customers.
The program includes online resources such as a web portal for monitoring and reporting, web seminars and marketing materials, co-marketing opportunities, and open APIs based on standards that are easy to build.
The tools are designed to help partners make more effective the resale of its services and adding members. The program also includes end-user billing and end-user support.

The partner program has two tracks – Reseller Program and The Cloud Rackspace Rackspace Cloud Affiliate Program.
The reseller program Rackspace Cloud offers discounts of up to 12 percent for resellers to sell large volumes in the cloud hosting Rackspace Cloud services, including the recently announced Cloud servers for Windows Beta.
The Rackspace Cloud Affiliate Program allows members to earn 5 to 7 percent of payments from a customer who refers accommodation for a period of three years.
The Solution Partner Program also encourages partners to build tools on top of open APIs Rackspace Cloud, so they can be rewarded through customer references and sales.
Building on the success of the solution Rackspace Hosting Partner Program, which was re-released last December, the program of The Cloud Rackspace enables new and existing companies, including Rackspace partner network solution to strengthen its position through references and resale of Rackspace Cloud cloud computing technology.
