WikiLeaks Signs Hosting Deal with Swedish Pirate Party
According to reports, founder WikiLeaks, Julian Assange signed a hosting agreement and security with the Swedish Pirate Party at a dinner on Sunday. The Swedish Pirate Party now totally Wikileaks manage multiple servers, making it very difficult for U.S. officials to take action against Wikileaks.
The Swedish Pirate is a political party founded in 2006 that aims to increase the privacy rights of Sweden. Since its founding, several European countries have followed the private creation of similar organizations.
Assange said: “We welcome the assistance provided by the Pirate Party. Our organizations share many values and I look forward to future ways we can help each other to improve the world.”
Wikileaks recently said it plans to release another 15,000 U.S. classified documents in the near future.
Moreover, Assange recently got a job as a columnist for the Swedish newspaper, Aftonbladet. This move will protect a journalist in the Swedish Constitution.
