Zayo Launches Colocation Services Unit
The new division, zColo absorbs placement Zayo Group recently acquired the business and the interconnection of Fibernet Telecom Group, which completed last week. This includes its extensive presence in New York / New Jersey metropolitan market.
With this release, zColo now is the exclusive operator of the 60 Hudson Street Meet-Me-Room, and offers placement in 60 Hudson, 111 8th Avenue, New York, and 165 Halsey Street, in New Jersey.
The new business unit also provides extensive fiber and copper interconnects and between these services, while maintaining additional facilities in Chicago, Miami and Los Angeles.
zColo later expand its offering to new buildings and markets.

The acquisition of Fibernet result in about half the companies join Fibernet Zayo bandwidth, while the majority of the outstanding issues is now part of Zayo placement services.
Thew two companies operated as separate entities, as Zayo Bandwidth manages relations of the company and the accounts of key Internet infrastructure, and offers of placement and interconnection services to these customers as agent Zayo placement services.
zColo provides products and operational support to Zayo Bandwidth, and directly manages the relationships of their own customers.
