Interxion Appoints Peter Cladingbowl SVP of Engineering and Operations Support
Neutral European Interxion data center operator (www.interxion.com) has promoted the telecommunications industry veteran Peter Cladingbowl senior vice president of engineering and operations support.
With 11 years experience in the telecommunications industry, Cladingbowl brings extensive experience to the new role, with a deep knowledge of the entire transport sector. Prior to joining Interxion, worked with Global Crossing, where he was vice president of IT EMEA, and then vice president of EMEA operations.
In his new expanded role in Interxion, which will oversee the design based on the highest standards, construction, operation and ongoing maintenance of 28 Interxion data centers in Europe, and the continuing development of the company’s pan-European footprint and services.

In addition to his time in telecommunications, Peter has spent six years in the year of manufacture and management of the supply chain and four in the offshore oil industry.
He is a graduate in engineering from the University of Cape Town (www.uct.ac.za).
