Layered Tech Raises $20M from Investors
Hosting provider Layered Technologies (www.layeredtech.com) announced Thursday it has received a capital investment growth of a group of investors led by private equity investment firms Accel-KKR (www.accel-kkr.com ).
Two layers Tech major existing investors increased equity and Pangloss International Fund, also participated.
The investment will be used to finance growth and expansion of managed services layers Tech, cloud computing and virtualization product offerings, and to “carry on building the business to support its customer base,” says the company.
Layers Tech provides managed dedicated hosting, on demand virtualization and cloud computing and Web services. The company now has eight top-level data centers worldwide.
Accel-KKR is a technology focused private equity firm with more than $ 1 trillion in assets under management.
The company invests primarily in software and enabled businesses well positioned for top and bottom line growth online.
