Microsoft Communication Services Offered by Hosting Provider
At the Microsoft Worldwide Partner Meeting 2009, Microsoft Company told the world availability of partner program to help hosting suppliers and their resellers market hosted unified communications to little and midsize business clients.
Microsoft Communication Services gives a common set of marketing collateral and the power to employ the Microsoft brand beyond individual product brands for better recognition in the SMB marketplace. The drive is open to Microsoft partners that have achieved the Hosting Solutions competency, part of the wider Microsoft Partner Network.
John Zanni, general boss of the international Software and Services Industry team for the Communications Sector at Microsoft, will outline Microsoft Communication Services and its advantages to hosting suppliers and their resellers in a software-plus-services breakout session today titled “Bringing It All Together Across MS net services, Partner Hosted and Windows Azure.”. Mr Zanni spotted, “SMBs are increasingly inquisitive about communication and collusion tools to boost productiveness and scale back costs.
The bulk of shoppers in the SMB segment need to purchase Microsoft Hosted Exchange and Microsoft Office Communications Server services from corporations that package these offerings. With Microsoft Communication Services, hosting suppliers and their resellers are talking the language of their customers.
Collateral and steering concentrates on selling a solution of cooperative hosted services, including hosted Microsoft Exchange Server, Hosted Windows SharePoint Services, Microsoft Office Communications Server and Microsoft Office Live Meeting. Also, today Microsoft commented that Outsourcery Ltd ( formerly Genesis Communications Ltd. ), a UK hosting and communications supplier and Microsoft Gold Certificated Partner, will use Microsoft Communication Services in the UK, enabling it to better market Microsoft-branded solution bundles to its buyers.
Mark Seemann, Product Strategy Director at Outsourcery added, “Outsourcery is happy to be concerned in the launch of Microsoft Communication Services to UK SMBs. We’ve discovered that the Microsoft name resonates very well with our SMB consumers, and that Microsoft Communication Services permits us to talk about entire solutions instead of just individual products. This coalition is completely aligned with our business technique to become Europe’s No 1 outsourced IT and unified communications supplier for Microsoft-hosted solutions.
Based primarily on the success of the pilot for Comcast and its buyers, Microsoft will now offer Microsoft Communication Services worldwide to all its hosting partners. Bill Stemper, President, Comcast Business Services remarked, “Microsoft Communication Services from Comcast is a vital part of our Business Class Web service and really differentiates us from our competitors. Not only does it help small-business owners be more productive but it also helps them save cash by significantly reducing their need for communication servers and IT support.
